Well, desk is not too bad. It beats my coffe table, anyway. Life goes on the way it normally does in this freaky little world we call normal. Things randomly surface and submerge with no apparent reason, or so it seems to us uniniciated. Guess I will remain one of those for a long period yet. My two month curse seems to be over; seems it is a three month curse now. But that's progress for you. Well... good thing is I have the house all for myself for three weeks now, am single again (!) (I must stink!) and I think this deserves a party, don't you?

Well, well... Monday again. Another Monday. Have a huge desk in my room. It kindof freaks me out. Oh, well. Not a permanent fixture (hopefully...) Hmmm... well... tell you more later...

Went to Sirkus yesterday evening. The place was full, it was more like a weekend than a weekday... guess it's the summertime...
Now I'm sitting at home, transcribing interviews... yawn... must make a telephone marathon tonight, calling everyone I have been meaning to call. I.e. in regards to my project and my final thesis. It's time to start taaaaping!! Am going down town later, and will try and shoot some filler ups, it's green and gorgeous out... gonna catch a few dads with their strollers, muwahahahaaaaa!
Oups, better get back to the transcribing then, eh? Catch ya later, gorgeous.

My God, you look gorgeous today!!
I think one should always start one's blog with a compliment, keeps the readers happy. So you are just HAPPENIN' today, hon!

Sorry I haven't written much lately, have been at my aunt's and she don't have no wireless and all my attempts to hijack someone else's wireless have been fruitless.
Anyway... how's it going? I´m halfway through my interviews and halfway through my essay (for school)... so... better than nothing, I guess.
Otherwise it's a gooorgeous day, bright and warm... and I really enjoy looking out the window at it.

Was watching Revelations again. It's all about them false prophets now. Imagine being born a false prophet. What a bummer. Sucks going through school, having to explain... yeah, no, I'm the FALSE prophet, you want the other one... Sorry, I bring havoc and destruction, you want health and healing, right? Sorry.
Nope, I'm not Jesus, I'm Jasus.

Had great fun last weekend... just got my refund from school so I'm not church-mouse poor. Iha! Bought some unneccessary stuff, which made me feel very happy. Extatic even. Went out to dinner w. Ino on Friday and then I went to Viggi's birthday party on Saturday and ended up in 22 dancing my butt off. Well, not entirely, unfortunately (that is to say, butt's still on and at same size). Of course it is no dream of mine to be buttless, that would make sitting extremely uncomfortable. And I'm fond of my sitting. I sit when I watch tv, sit when I surf the internet, sit when I have my beer at a café, which is what I did yesterday for example. With my Sigga and my Helga. Very nice.

Now I'm out of work space, cannot work at home 'cause my mom's on vacation (not happy when I take over the dinner table as office), my aunt's back and if I choose to go to the office I have to log with me about 15 books and 3 folders and a computer and I'm just not that into carrying stuff around. Where's my sherpa when I need her?

Finished Harry Potter... hi hi hi... I'm such a bona fide nerd... :)
Innipúkinn is the thing for the first weekend of August... I'm gonna buy a ticket now... grrr... catch you later, gorgeous.

Dreadful bombings in London. It is just awful. It sounds selfish and egotistical but I hope that everyone I know is safe.

I´m too lazy to work... but I do work though... only a bit too slowly for my taste... the thing is I've been reading tons of research material and now it's all in one big porridge in my brain... need to focus! And start calling up my "research material"... have developed an irrational fear of strangers in telephones.

The Americans have arrived and are quite nice. Steinunn is also in the country, hi Steinunn :)

I bought Thai pants today... purchase of the week... they were on sale... and I got an extra discount ;) Pays to know the owner... There's a sale in Oni, ya see.

Hmmm... will continue to read "Policy and behavior in Britain" now... catcha later, gator.

Howdy there! I just had a great weekend. I went up into the countryside (yes, I did!)... On Saturday afternoon I pick up my Sigga (back from France! :) and Egill and we drive for three hours north to Nýp, to an old renovated farmhouse owned by Sólrún's parents. Now, Sólrún's dad was celebrating his 50th anniversary, Sigrún (Sólrún's sister) just graduated with a degree in architecture and Sólrún, well she graduated last year but never had a party.

So! Loads of people, good food and wine. Later in the evening amina had a concert and later the local band - Strákarnir í sveitinni - played as well... a bunch of teenagers in iron maiden t-shirts, hihi, but they did surprisingly well and kept them old folks dancin' till the break of dawn... sortof... people went to bed quite early... but me, Raggi, Sigrún and Egill decided to stay awake, which we did... until something like two a.m., haha... losers! Anyway, had a great time.

So, drove back the next day with a full car of people playing games on the way(slightly hung over), came home, left home and ordered chinese with Ino and didn't do anything except watch tv... which is good.

Americans are coming tomorrow, and I will have to move out of my room... buhu... but, hey, congrats to me, it's the 4th of July today, isn't it? Send me cakes and presents, please! XXX (for you, a kiss, my friend!)
